Introduction to the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Program (International Education Center) of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Tongzhou Campus

The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Tongzhou Campus (referred to as RDFZ Tongzhou Campus) is located in the core area of the administrative office zone of Beijing's urban sub-center, adjacent to the municipal government. It is a full-time public secondary school. The campus covers an area of about 98 mu (approximately 65,333 square meters) with a construction area of over 52,000 square meters. Adhering to the educational philosophy and operational structure of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, it focuses on the well-round development of students, creates an open, harmonious, healthy and positive campus atmosphere, and is committed to building a high-quality school with an international perspective, reflecting Chinese characteristics, and achieving a high positioning and rapid development.

The Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Program of RDFZ Tongzhou Campus (full English name: International Education Center, referred to as IEC) is an extension of the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Program of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China (English abbreviation: ICC) in Tongzhou. It belongs to general high school education and currently offers Sino-US cooperative classes (AP program classes). Since its establishment in 2019, IEC has taken "China story through world language" as its core philosophy, integrated the essence of Chinese and foreign education, innovated talent training models, and been committed to cultivating innovative international talents who are "rooted in China, with a global vision and able to take on important responsibilities" for the country and the nation.

IEC combines Chinese national high school courses with Advanced Placement (AP) courses, covering subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, statistics, environmental science, computer science, psychology, and art history. The program employs foreign teachers and bilingual teachers who have the teaching qualifications and rich teaching experience for the above-mentioned courses. Meanwhile, by providing an immersive English learning environment, it organically integrates English standardized test training with academic English courses, comprehensively improving students' academic ability to understand, express and think in English.
